Programs

The Homebase core mission revolves around the belief that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home.

By prioritizing and implementing immediate housing solutions, we strive to empower individuals experiencing homelessness to regain control of their lives and pursue personal growth.

Food Rescue

Food rescue is the process of gleaning viable food so that instead of going to waste, it’s redirected to support local community members. We collect food directly from the food industry and redirect it to the community through our programs and Food Link.

780-205-1666 before 3:00 PM the day

of the meal.

School Support

We believe that schools are vital to the community. We want school to be a positive part of a child’s day and an outlet for necessities. With our Food Rescue program, we are able to provide schools with bread products, yogurt, milk, cereal, fruit cups, granola bars, and much more, allowing children to focus on their studies and enjoy their school day.

Hampers

We partner with agencies in our community to help support individuals and families with food by referral. Agencies fill out paperwork, send it in, and our outreach teams will then connect with you to book you in for a food hamper! If you need more information on our food hamper program, please call us at 780-870-1060 or email outreach@theolivetreelloyd.ca
